After emigrating from Germany in 1978 she’d watched films to help her lose her accent and was fascinated how this medium could impact the lives of others on a grand scale.

She soon discovered that her impatience to achieve her goals and assist others were constrained by traditional methods so she dropped out of college to become a self-taught entrepreneur.   “I knew there were better ways to announce what an entrepreneur had to offer to marketplace. How to help them achieve their goals sooner, than later and with less stress. I had to discover what those things were for myself and that I could help others with.”

This is where her knack for combining media, marketing and web technology would eventually blossom.

In the mid nineties she moved to Houston, Texas, retired her home childcare, as her kids were in school, and replaced it with a personal concierge service.  One of her most favorite clients Jeannie name her company ‘Heavenly Help’.

“Angelina would listen to what I needed. She’d ask me questions to draw out of me what I didn’t realize I needed help with. I called her my heavenly help. She offered me an unconditional heart and ear, and that’s what I needed. She was incredible in helping me accomplished my goals at home and in business. She was my guide.”

During this time she was also a worship leader for Calvary Chapel and for a small traditional Baptist Church. Music and singing had always been an outlet for her so in the evening she worked on recording her first album.

Working one business to fund another was commonplace, it came very natural.

In 1999 she came back to San Antonio and a few months later took off to the Northwest with her two kids to leave a difficult situation with her mentally ill husband. When she came back to San Antonio she finally launched the very public version of MOMtrepreneurs with a website, radio show and TV appearances with her current husband, Daniel Comp. She called him the master programmer and she learned to program right alongside him

In the first year MOMtrepreneurs grew its subscriber base to 2 million women internationally. In 2004 she was awarded twice by the U.S. Small Business Administration for her creative use of traditional and non-traditional methods on how to grow her MOMtrepreneurs through media, marketing and web technology strategies.
