Red Dress Princess Pageant Program

In the beginning:

  • In 1990 Angelina Musik-Comp founded MOMtrepreneurs to help moms and women through personal development and entrepreneurship.
  • In 2003 MOMtrepreneurs launched its online platform with the help and commitment of her husband Daniel Comp, alongside her radio & TV show appearances, and eventually the 'Angelina TV Show'.
  • In 2004 MOMtrepreneurs was awarded twice by the Small Business Administration and recognized by Governor Rick Perry for its accomplishments.
  • In 2009, an extension of MOMtrepreneurs, the Red Dress Society, was established to celebrate and promote women behind social causes through its 'Angel Awards' program and was recognized by US Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson, including Angelina being nominated into the Texas Women's Hall of Fame.
  • In 2011, it was decided it's time to put a fun and familiar concept in place with a specific focus on the outcome of our youth 5, 10, 15, 20 years from now while creating micro-business opportunities for women.

Red Dress Princesses LEARN how to APPLY age appropriate knowledge, tasks, and values to EXCEL in life over their developmental youth.

Age Divisions led by a separate Princess City Directors:

  • Preschool/Kinder
  • 1st-3rd Grade

  • teen pregnancy
  • runaways

Negative Youth Outcomes are related to poor decisions made by young women due to:

  • depression
  • reactive anger
  • low self-esteem
  • lack of knowledge
  • lack of support
  • lack of resources
  • false expectations
  • powerlessness
  • weariness
  • hopelessness

Each month the princesses receive a Red Dress Princess Package that supports positive personal, wellness and educational development, as well as assignments around making a difference through the life of another, and a feedback journal about goals accomplished throughout the month.

Weekly
Princesses go through their online program each Monday and state goals for the week and desireable achievements and outcomes by the end of the week.

Monthly
Once a month the local princesses get together and share their experiences and accomplishments, and get to build relationships around like-minded young girls.

Quarterly
Once a quarter an event is held to recognize the girls and their accomplishments.

Annually
Once a year an annual awards banquet is held crowning the Red Dress Princess for that year, for that age group, and for that city.
